David Shiree Dainty, 54, of Omaha, Neb., died of carbon monoxide poisoning Saturday, October 5, 1996 at home. The death has been ruled a suicide. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home in Carlisle, with burial at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.

Mr. Dainty was born September 29, 1942, in Knoxville, the son of Wilbur & Alice (Weatherall) Dainty. August 28, 1965, he married Vicky Lee Agan. He lived in Carlisle before moving to Omaha in 1987.

He was a mail clerk with the U. S. Postal Service and a member of the American Postal Workers Union. and lived in Carlisle before moving to Omaha in 1987. He was a mail clerk with the U. S. Postal Service and a member of the American Postal Workers Union.

Survivors include his wife, Vicky; two daughters, Sunny Dainty of Omaha and Terri Dainty of Fort Collins, Colo; a brother, Willard of Carlisle; a sister, Thayne Ireland of Ankeny.

Friends may call after 4 p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
