Darrell Galloway, 64 years old, of Kearney, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, while
moving in transition to his retirement home in Mansfield, Mo. Although spending
most of his school years in Albia, he graduated from Knoxville, High School in 1961.
He is survived by wife Judith, his son Deryck Galloway and wife Tonja, granddaughter
Darian (10) and grandson Alexander (3) of Kansas City, Mo.; and son Nathan Galloway
of Kansas City, Kan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Dexter and Anna Fay (Simon) Galloway of Albia. He was the younger brother of Bill Galloway (b.July 26, 1934-d.Nov. 13, 2008) of Newton; Bob and
Betty (Bob) Butler of Illinois; Kathryn Galloway of Albia; and his younger sister Elaine
Dostal of Illinois.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews and friends. A memorial
service will be held in Kearney, Mo. on Friday, Jan. 18, 2008.
