Constance “Connie” Eve (Wilcox) Crawford passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the age of 87.

Connie was married to Oliver Gene Crawford (deceased) for 67 years. She lived in Roswell, NM for 65 years and then moved to Lubbock, Texas to be closer to family.

Connie was born in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas on June 24, 1930, to Roy A. & Lillian A. Wilcox (both deceased).

Connie is survived by her daughter, Betty Meeks (Jon, deceased), and son, John Crawford (Athena).

She was Grandma to Darcy (Shannon) Naylor, Jack (Rebecca) Meek, Sara (Sammy) Daulong, Scott (Alyson) Crawford, Laura Meeks, and Chris (Kristin) Crawford.

Her great-grandchildren are Jon Naylor, Audrey Meeks, Chase Thompson, Jaxson Thompson, Liam Meeks, Shawn Naylor, Cooper Crawford, Paige Crawford, Caleb Crawford, and Mason Crawford.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Gene Crawford, sister Geraldine Meyers, sister Carol Ann Rollins, & brother Martin R. (Skip) Wilcox.

She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, doing plastic canvas projects, square dancing, cooking & baking.

She always rolled quarters to give to her grandkids & great-grandkids when they came to visit.Constance Wilcox

She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Roswell, NM.
A graveside service will be held at South Park Cemetery on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 11:00 am.
