Clayton Bennett Harsin, age 20, died Sunday, August 3, 2014, north of Knoxville.
Clayton was born on June 22, 1994, in Pella, Iowa, the oldest son of Eric Kay and Michelle Lee (Bennett) Harsin. He was raised in Knoxville and enjoyed little league baseball, wrestling, High School FFA, and the Bowling Team.
Clayton was a 2012 graduate of Knoxville High School and was graduating from the D.M.A.C.C. criminal justice program in 2015.
Clayton was employed with Karl Chevrolet as an Auto Detailer. Clayton was also beginning his operations on a mobile detailing business venture.
The outdoors was part of Clayton’s lifestyle. He bow fished, deer hunted, and camped. He also had a passion for ATVs, cars, and motorcycles.
Clayton is survived by his parents Eric and Michelle Harsin; his brother Logan Harsin and longtime girlfriend Madison Swayne all of Knoxville.
Clayton is also survived by his grandparents, Kay (Shirley) Harsin of Knoxville and Randy (Correne) Bennett all of Knoxville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Sandra Harsin.
Visitation with Clayton’s family present will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2014, at the Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 9th, at the Knoxville High School Performing Arts Center. A private family burial will follow services at Ruckman Cemetery.
