Clayton LaVerne Geery of Sturgeon, Mo., died at his home on March 27, 2006, at the age of 66.  He was born on Nov. 26, 1940, in Harvey to Orbra and Mildred (White) Geery.

After the death of his mother, Mildred, he was raised by his father Orbra and mother, Bonnie Cooper Geery. Mrs. Geery survives in Harvey.

On Nov. 25, 1961, he married Ramona Snyder in Bussey and she survives. Other survivors include his two sons, Wayne L. Geery and his wife Valerie of Sturgeon, Mo., and Brian L. Geery and his wife Tricia of Albuquerque, N.M; five grandchildren; two brothers, Steve Geery of Atlanta Ga. and Leonard Geery of Harvey; four sisters, Mary Bea Horras of Sigourney, Chris Lovan of Des Moines, Mildred Coalbank of Knoxville and Cindy Herman of Ottumwa.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Keith Geery and Douglas Geery. He was a member of the Sunnydale Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Centralia, Mo. He retired from the University of Missouri. He served in the United States Air Force.

Services were on March 31 at Sunnydale Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Centralia, Mo. with Doug Inglish, pastor of Sunnydale Seventh-Day Adventist Church officiating

Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Mid-Missouri Hospice-Macon Branch or Sunnydale Community Center in, Centralia, Mo.
