Clara Belle (Andrews) Griffioen died peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, December 13, 2015, in Layton, Utah at the age of 77.

She is survived by her children Jean Hanson of Goodell, IA, Julietta Cory of Elkhart, IA, Joe Griffioen of Belmond, IA, Paul Hunt of Aiken, SC, Randy Hunt of Whidbey Island, WA, Wilson Hunt of Tupelo, MI, Andy Naud of Herriman, UT, Natalie Pierce of Clinton, UT, 11 grandchildren, and two sisters, Ann Hogan of Jackson, MO and Sue Cullers of Storm Lake, IA.

Clara was born in Knoxville, IA on December 22, 1937, to Guy and Elizabeth Andrews. She moved to Tulsa, OK in 1959 working for numerous companies before moving to Clearfield, UT in 1978. Clara worked at Futura Industries for 21 years before retiring in 2001.

She was a member of Beth Arabah Chapter 24 of the Order of the Eastern Star where she was a past, Worthy Matron. Clara was also a member of Clearfield Community Church where she faithfully served the Lord and the congregation for over 35 years.Clara Andrews

A service to celebrate Clara is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday morning, December 17, 2015, at Clearfield Community Church, 525 E. 200 So., Clearfield, Utah.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Clearfield Community Church.
