Cheryl Sue Robuck, 70, of Mason City. IA (formerly of Knoxville, IA), died Thursday, May 5, 2016, at the Good Shepherd Nursing Facility, Mason City, IA.
Per her wishes the body was cremated.

A memorial service for Cheryl was held, Thursday, (June 9, 2016) at 4:00 p.m., at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 1202 Woodland Drive, Knoxville, IA, with Father Jacob M. Greiner officiating. Music will be provided by St. Anthony’s Church. Burial will be in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church.
Memorials may be given to Good Shepherd Nursing Facility, Mason City, IA, or St. Anthony’s Church, Knoxville, IA

Cheryl Sue Robuck, was born May 12, 1945, in Knoxville, the daughter of Howard O. and Betty L. (Dixon) Robuck. She attended St. Anthony’s Elementary School and graduated from Knoxville High School, the Class of 1963.

Cheryl worked for State of Iowa, Revenue Department. She moved to Mason City, IA, and worked with the Northern Iowa Transition Center, until her retirement. Due to health issues she moved to the Good Shepherd Nursing Facility, May 2012.

Cheryl enjoyed singing, attending church, reading, collecting dolls, playing bingo and trivia, visiting with people, volunteering, traveling when younger, and her family. She joined the Catholic Church, at the age of four years, along with, her parents. She was a dedicated Catholic and studied at the Sisters of Notre Dame, St. Louis, MO, after high school.

Her zeal for learning continued throughout her life by taking various college courses. She was very knowledgeable on several subjects. Our family has lost a valued and knowledgeable member.

Cheryl is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Anthony (Nanette) Robuck, Orlando, FL, sister and brother-in-law, Lois (Robert) Funk, Knoxville, IA, nephews, Steven(Andrea) Funk, Knoxville, IA, and Bryan Funk, Council Bluffs, IA, great nieces, Abbigayle and Meghan, great nephews, Andrew, Jarred, and Bradey, Uncles, Robert (Sandra) Stephenson, Clarion, IA, Tom Stephenson, Pueblo, CO, and other relatives and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Betty Robuck, Grandparents, Sylvia and Raymond Stephenson, and Oliver and Inez (Wilson) Dixon.
