Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn (Moneysmith) Hanson, who died Jan. 11, 1970, at her home in Bountiful Utah were held there on Jan 14 with burial in the Bountiful Memorial Park.
Carolyn May, daughter of Walter and Bertha Hill Moneysmith was born on April 12, 1934, in Knoxville. She married James Richard Hanson on June 28, 1951, in Des Moines.
He died on March 25, 1966. She was a postal clerk for the U. S. Postal Service in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was an active member of the LDS Church,
A member of Bountiful 21st Ward and a former primary Sunday school teacher and relief society visiting teacher.
She is survived by two sons, James R. Jr., and Jeffrey R. both of Bountiful; her parents, two brothers, Ivan Moneysmith of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Ancil of San Diego Calif; and one sister Mrs. Alberta McKinley of Russell.
