Graveside services for Kenneth Bruce Barger, 61, died of a heart attack of Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, formerly of Knoxville, who died August 29, in Dhahran, were held September 16, 1995, at Graceland Cemetery.

Mr. Barger was born in Lacona and lived in Atlanta and Knoxville before moving to Dhahran.

Rev. Aaron McCombs officiated at the services.

Kenneth was born August 5, 1934, in Lacona, the son of Lawrence and Stella Edgerton Barger. His family moved to Knoxville in 1942. He graduated from High school in 1952.

He served in the United States Air Force, and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for many years. He also had been employed by Lear Siegler International for the past 15 years in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Stella Rosella Edgerton, in 1983. He is survived by his father,Lawrence O Barger, of Knoxville – b.Sept 6,1899 d.Dec 12, 1995; two daughters, Susan Hide of Pierceton, Ind., and Elizabeth Libe of Ainsworth; a son, John Hazelett of Ainsworth; two brothers, Bernard of Indianola, and Herbert of Sierr Vista, Ariz.; two sisters, Mona Harvey of Wilmington, N.C., and Virginia Radu of Ft. Wayne, Ind., and 10 grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by Evans-McCleery Funeral Home in Knoxville.
