Services for Bob L. Thompson, 52, of Mesa, Ariz. and formerly of Pershing, who died Dec. 17, 1987 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Mesa, Ariz., were held Dec. 21 at Henderson
Funeral Home in Mesa.

Interment was in Mt. View Memorial Gardens in Mesa. Rev. Paul Perry and Bishop Karl Fletcher officiated at the services. Pallbearers were Paul Marsh, Harrison Hanzlik, Todd Thelander, Leon Granillo, Jack Dalton, Michael White,
Kenneth Main, and Ed Lyons.

Mr. Thompson was born June 27, 1935, at Pershing, the
son of Elwood and Frances Thompson. He was a 1955 graduate of Knoxville High School.
He was the owner/operator of Thompson Masonry and built custom homes in Mesa, Ariz.

He was the former owner of Hermosa Vista Citrus Growers, sponsored Pop Warner football
teams, and was a member of the Southside Sheriff's Posse, Farm Bureau, Mesa Sunkist
Growers Association, Independent Contractors Assoc., First United Methodist Church,
Mesa Jaycees, the National Association of Home Builders, and was a recipient of
the Pre-Flab Appreciation Award.

He is survived by his wife, the former Jane Duncan;
one son, Michael, and two daughters, Debra and Jennifer, all of Mesa, Ariz.; and
his mother and one sister, Sharon Garrett, both of Tubac, Ariz.
