Robert ‘Bob’ Lee Neal, age 82, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at home, surrounded by family.
Bob was born December 6, 1939, in Knoxville, Iowa to Archie and Lucille Neal.
He attended High School with the KHS Class of 1958.
Later married Barbara on June 29, 1962. They would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in June, 60 YEARS!!
He worked for Gifford Brown/Dee Electronics for over 40 years, where he made many lifelong friends. He loved to travel around Iowa, exploring new places, but his greatest joy was playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his wife, Barbara, 3 children, Becky (Farley) Cornia of Runnells, Iowa, Lisa Neal of Des Moines, Iowa, and Sherri Neal of Des Moines, Iowa; 4 grandchildren, Sean (Christina) Cornia of Bondurant, Iowa, Cassandra (Tyler) Eden of Des Moines Iowa, Kaitlynn Kendall (fiancé Tommy Holman) of Otterville, Missouri, and Mikayla Neal of /Des Moines, Iowa; 6 great-grandchildren, Quinn, Emma, Owen, Bennett, Broly, and Ella; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister.
