Funeral services for Mrs. Beverly Joyce (Muilenberg) Eck, who died March 9, 1969, at Mahaska County Hospital,
were held on March 12 from the United Methodist Church with Rev. George I. Yetter officiating.
William’s funeral home was in charge of burial in Graceland Cemetery. Casketberrers
were Charles Walter Jr., Folmer Peterson, Ed Vandekamp, Worth Stevenson, Myron Gleason
and Don Wickliff. Mrs. Harold Hall was an organist with congregational singing.
Beverly Joyce, daughter of Henry Muilenberg and Nell M. Bundy, was born Nov. 5, 1925, at
Pella graduated from the Iowa Methodist school of nursing in 1947.
On October 12, 1947, she was married to Keith Eck. She was a member of the United Methodist
Church, Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Marion County Professional Nurses Association and
was a registered nurse at the VA Hospital.
Her father preceded her in death.
Surviving are her husband, Keith, four children, Wendell, Sally, Steve, and Scott, at home;
one stepson, Jim Eck of Clearwater, Fla.; her mother Mrs. Nell Bundy one brother,
Bill Muilenburg of Troutdale, Ore., and one stepsister, Mrs. Lois Bundy Haber of
Elgin, Ill.
