Margaret Elizabeth Capper was born on November 7, 1931, in Knoxville, Iowa, the daughter of David Alonzo Capper and Fern Bessie (Jones) Capper.

She grew up in Knoxville and was united in marriage to Clifford C. Loghry.

Following Clifford’s passing, Betty was united in marriage to David William Allen.

She enjoyed working at the Younker’s Tea Room before her retirement and then went
on to work part-time at Burger King

Betty passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at her home at the age of 80 years.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; and her siblings: John Capper,
James Capper, Gus Capper, Pearl Capper, Shirley Clark, and Bernard Capper.

Survivors include her children: Orville (Ramona) Loghry, Sr., John (Jeanne) Loghry, Sr., Richard Loghry, Roger (Lisa) Loghry,
James Loghry; step-children: Patricia (Bob) Thompson, Victoria (Donnie) Fichter, Juanita Brower, Christina Allen, Nicholas
(Nick) Allen, Norma (Don) McVey; 29 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Earl Copper of Naperville, IL. Visitation
