Elizabeth “Beth” (Klug) Hancock, 61, passed away peacefully in her home, Sunday morning, January 31, 2021.
Beth was born to Donald and Virginia Klug in Des Moines, Iowa on September 25, 1959.
She attended Knoxville schools until her senior year, when she graduated at Pella High School in 1978. She joined the National Guard for a couple years before medical discharged. She then found her true passion, becoming a mother to her wonderful sons, Mike and Brad Noble.
She joined in marriage to Kevin Hancock in 1989, where she happily continued her beloved role as a homemaker and mother. She adored all kinds of animals and loved nothing more then sitting around with family crocheting while telling stories and jokes for a good belly laugh.
Spend time alone, or spend time around the people you love; do whatever it takes to help you get through the most difficult times in your life, because that is something Beth wanted for us.
In addition to her parents, Beth is preceded in death by her sister, Donna Klug, son Mike Noble and father-in-law Marvin Hancock.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Kevin is her son Brad (April), grandchildren Andrew and Ava Noble of Chariton, IA, sisters, Debora (Norm) Petersma of Marble Falls, TX, Catherine (Brad) Dodd of Knoxville, IA, Diana (Steve) Barger Waukon, IA, sisters-in-law, Sharla (Dave) Murdock of Newton, IA, Sherry Mazzoco of Chariton, IA, Drucilla Hilt of Chariton, IA, and Tallie Hancock of Williamson, IA, and many nieces and nephews and more great nieces and nephews.
Family is welcoming friends and family at Fielding Funeral home from 4pm to 6pm, Wednesday, February 3rd , 2021
A service of remembrance will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Fielding Funeral Home at 227 S Grand St in Chariton Ia. Memorial contribution may be made to the family.
