Barbara Ann (Holdren) Tokheim, 69, died Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Bloomfield United Methodist Church in Des Moines. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Barbara was born, on Sept 15, 1941, in Knoxville, Iowa, and has lived in Des Moines since 1963. She was united in marriage to Eugene Tokheim on June 16, 1963. She was retired from Allied Insurance Company.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Merle Tokheim (d.Nov. 24, 2016) children: Michell (Roger) Karnes of Otley, IA, Kyle (Cecelia) Tokheim of Des Moines, and
Kevin (Amy) Tokheim of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren: Rosemary, Victoria, Michael, and Manna; sisters: Betty (Melvin) Flanders of Hamilton, IA and Doris Martin ofWyoming.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at Dunn’s Funeral Home.
