Graveside services for Audrey Virginia (Marsh) Wise, 82, of Lakewood, Wash., formerly
of Knoxville, who died July 2, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma, Wash., were held
July 9, 1999, at Greenwood Cemetery in rural Knoxville. The Rev. Martha Ward officiated
at the services.
Nicki was born May 17, 1917, in Des Moines, the daughter of Adda Curtis and Carl
Marsh. The family moved to Knoxville, and she graduated from Knoxville High School
in 1935.
She was employed most of her life as a secretary for a food brokerage company. She
was involved in many religious and charitable groups. She moved to Lakewood, Wash.
in 1983.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lee; and a sister, Doris.
She is survived by her husband, Robert H. Wise of Lakewood, Wash.; a step-daughter,
Nancy Markle of Tacoma, Wash.; a brother, Don Wickliff of Knoxville; and three grandchildren.
Arrangements were made by Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville.
