Alice Arlene (White) Sexton, 79, of Topeka, Kansas died at the Rolling Hills Care Center on June 3, 2017. In Topeka, Kansas.

Alice experienced an exciting, precious, and challenging life.
She was born September 4, 1937, in Knoxville and is a "55" graduate of KHS.

She was employed at the Iowa Governor's office and with the Iowa and Kansas Utility companies. One of many highlights was visiting England, her heritage country. She had an ongoing focus relative to political issues and genealogy research.

She adored the Irish Tenors and was an avid fan of the Kansas Jayhawks. Her greatest joy and deep love was for her son, Mark, and was proud of his accomplishments while employed within the network television media. In him, she instilled values, gentility, humor, and humility, while God added creativity.

Alice often used the word "lovely" to express a positive impression of others or things. Yet, we shall forever miss and remember this ''lovely" lady. . She welcomed and spread joy. Alice endured adversity and sorrow with tears and silent strength.

She accomplished with passion and humility and had a great capacity to love and care about friends and family. Her favorite season was Spring and we can have comfort envisioning God welcoming her with " the breath of Spring"Alice White

She is survived by her sister Margaret Skarsten, and multiple niece and nephews, She was preceded in death by her parents Robert & Elotia White, brother Merlin White, son Mark Current, and sister Lorraine Olson.

An informal memorial gathering was conducted within the Kansas University area in Topeka, Kansas.
