Alberta Louise (Salsberry) McMichael was born February 1, 1933, the daughter of Eddie and Alda Bernice (Conrey) Salsberry.
She married Donald J. McMichaels on Jan 12, 1957. (b.1923 – d.1987)
Alberta died, September 12, 2002, at the age of 69, and was buried at the Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville, Marion County, Iowa.
Alberta Louise McMichael, 69, of Knoxville died of cancer Thursday at Mercy Medical Center, Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.
Mrs. McMichael was born in Knoxville and had lived in Des Moines and California before returning to Knoxville in 1987. She had worked as a restaurant cook.
She is survived by two sons, Terry Phipps of Knoxville and Larry Shepherd of Des Moines; two brothers, Tom Salsberry of Melcher and Rick Salsberry of Knoxville; a sister, Judy Sears of Clinton, Mont; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don.
Friends are invited to gather at the cemetery prior to services Monday. Bybee and Davis Funeral Home in Knoxville is handling arrangements.
