William J. Myers was born in Knoxville, Marion County, Iowa, May 14, 1921, the son of William J. and Grace Myers.
He graduated with the Class of 1940 of Knoxville, Iowa.
On Nov 5, 1942, he enlisted as a Christian, Private in the Military, with Company – A.T.Co – 26th Infantry Division.

William died on July 10, 1943, and is buried in the Graceland Cemetery – Veteran's Section in Knoxville, Iowa.
