Services for William (Bill) Dean Billingsley, 61, Fayetteville, Ark., who died June 18, 1983 at VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, were held June 21, at the Gary Stumpff Chapel, Kimberling City, Mo.
Interment was in the National Cemetery, Springfield, Mo.
Rev. John Renfro officiated at the services.
Mr. Billingsley was born May 17, 1922, at Knoxville, Ia., the son of William Alvin and Josephine Etta Flanders Billingsley.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Des Moines, Ia., the Kimberling City Elks Lodge, and the Oddfellows Lodge at Knoxville. He was also a member of the U.S. Air Force Retired Sergeants Club, having retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Sec. Mater Sergeant after completing 22 1/2 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
He is survived by his wife Claire and stepson Kent Truber, Fayetteville, Ark.; stepdaughter, Jean Gordon, Des Moines, Ia.;
three grandchildren; brother James E. and sister Alice Nichols, both of Prairie City, Ia.; and nieces and nephews.
