The Lord sent His angels down to bring Tracey home, on February 17, 2017, in Mesa, Arizona.

A going-home ceremony in honor of Trace Michael Washington will be held Friday, February 24, 2017, at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Canaan is located at 931 S. Stapley Dr, Mesa, AZ.

Our beloved Tracey will be laid to rest in Iowa on Saturday, March 11 at 2 pm at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville, Iowa.

Family and friends are welcome to share stories and memories during the ceremony. You may also send flowers to the church if you wish.

Tracey was born September 22, 1962, the son of Olious and Mary (West) Washington. He graduated high school in Knoxville Iowa with the Class of 1981 and studied Criminal Justice at the University of Phoenix.

On December 14, 2011, he was united in marriage to Samaj Antez.

Trace was employed at Pizza Hut in Knoxville and later as a supervisor at the warehouse in Chandler Christian Community Center, Mesa Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his father in 2002, grandma and maternal grandfathers, and brothers, Olious Washington III in 1988, and Stacey Michael Washington, in 1993.

Survivors include brothers, Marvin Washington, James Washington, and Kenneth Washington; two sisters, Michelle Jordan, and Desiree Washington

Tracey was a wonderful person and will be missed by many.
