Obituary for Stephanie Marie (Gist) Troendle
Stephanie Marie (Gist) Troendle, age 26, of Knoxville died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at her home in Knoxville.

Steph’s wishes were to be cremated and a memorial visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville. Stephanie’s family will be present Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.

A memorial service for Stephanie will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, October 20th, also at the Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville, with Pastor Suzanne Vogel officiating. Burial will follow services at the Graceland Cemetery of Knoxville.
Stephanie was born July 25, 1988 in Pella to Millard William and Sherry Lynn (Sharp) Gist, Jr.

Stephanie grew up in Knoxville. She played 7th grade football and graduated from Knoxville High School, Class of 2006. After high school Stephanie attended and graduated from beauty school.
Step worked mainly in housekeeping after college and she was currently employed with The Village, located in Indianola.

Stephanie enjoyed writing and decorating for her favorite season, Halloween. She was especially talented in cake decorating and she was learning to paint.

On July 26, 2014, outside of Knoxville Stephanie and Scott David Troendle were united in marriage. They were blessed with a loving family of four children, Gage, Curtis, Gabriella “Gabby”, and Alivia.

Steph is survived by her husband Scott Troendle of Knoxville; their children, Gage, Curtis, Gabriella “Gabby” and Alivia. Stephanie is also survived by her parents, Millard and Sherry Gist, Jr.; mother and father-in-law, David and Carol Troendle; three brothers, Chris Gist, Curt (Mel) Gist and Josh Gist; two grandmothers, Karen Lankford and Hilda Glenna Gist; her special uncle Dale Sharp and many aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jerry Sharp, Walter Lankford and Millard Gist, Sr.; and her great grandparents Sarah and Ray Dye.
