Funeral services for Russell Kaster, who died at his home October 11, were held from Williams Funeral Home October 15 with Rev. William Travis officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery
Casketbearers were Russell Crozier, William Dennison, Beryl Hall, Amos Jones, Bernard Randol and Bob Smith. Organ music was provided by Mrs. Anna Oscarson.
Russell Leroy, son of Virris Fred and Loa Ada Nichols Kaster was born in Knoxville September 9, 1916. He was a 1934 Knoxville high school graduate. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Morgan.
Survivors Include one daughter, Mrs. Allen (Barbara) Smith of Riverview, Mich.; three sons, Russell V. Kaster of Knoxville, Richard R. Kaster of Des Moines and Robert Kaster of Tucson, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren.
