A Memorial service for Richard William Jacob, 68, of Tucson, Arizona, who died November
5, 1999 will be held November 23 at the Vista de la Montana United Methodist Church in
Tucson Arizona.
Dick was born October 3, 1931 the son of Ralph and Lillian Jacob
of Knoxville. He was a 1949 graduate of Knoxville High School.
After service in
the Korean Conflict, during which time he was in the 98th Army Band in Trieste,
Italy. he entered Iowa State University in Ames. He graduated with a degree in Journalism
in December 1957.
After being employed as a writer for many years by companies across
the country, including Ann-strong Cork Company, Bankers Life and The Franklin Mint,
Dick formed his own company, Jacob advertising, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1978.
He and is wife retired to Tucson in 1996.
He is survived by his wife Betty, a son
Stephen (Denise) of Kenosha, Wisconsin; a daughter Catherine of Appleton, Wisconsin;
and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Donations may
