Funeral services for Paul (Bud) Fast, who died Nov. 20, 1969 at Lancaster, Calif., were held Nov. 23 from Bybee & Davis funeral home with Rev. James Dendler officiating. Burial was in Graceland cemetery
Pallbearers were P. W. Fee, Marvin Dixon, Frank Tonda, Rich ard Tonda, Leo Dykstra, John Langstraat and Joe Rumley. Mrs. Mary Ellen Hall was organist.
Paul W.,son of Edward and Elsie Wright Fast, was born May 1, 1909 in Marion county.
He was united in marriage to Fern Core on Aug. 10, 1929 and farmed near Knoxville for 25 years, moved to Knoxville in 1954 and to California in 1957 where he owned and operated a manufacturing business at Palmdale. He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving are his wife, Fern; three daughters, Mrs. Bertrand (Roberta) Dennison, Knoxville, Mrs. Dennis (Maurine) Belknap, Ft. Worth, Texas, and Mrs. Jack (Joan) Hakes, Palmdale, Calif.; two sons, Ronald of Palmdale and Donald of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; eight grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Elsie Fast of Knoxville; a sister Mrs. W. D. (Ruth) Von Seggen and a brother Edward I (Van) Fast of Knoxville.
