Norma Jeanne Haning was born June 26, 1931 in Columbia, IA. She was the daughter
of Alta Lucille Long and James Carl Malone.

Norma attended elementary school in
Columbia and graduated from Knoxville High School in 1949. For many years Norma
was employed as a nursing aide at Collins Memorial Hospital and Westridge Nursing
Home. She was also the office manager at the Senior Center for s Norma enjoyed being
with friends and family; enjoying life to the fullest.

Norma passed away on Tuesday,
March 31, 2009 at the age of 77 years, 9 months and 5 days at Westridge Nursing
and Rehabilitation Center.

Preceding her in death were her parents; 2 sisters, Shirley
Taylor and Mary Hulgen and long time companion, Angelo Pantelone.

Norma will be
deeply missed by her children, Angie Sage and her husband, Dick of Osceola, Kelli
Reynolds of Riverside, IL and Gordon Haning and his wife, Emilee of Knoxville; 7
grandchildren, Brandi, Tara, Joshua, Ashley, Jordan, Lyndsey and Justin; 6 great-grandchildren,
Kiaya, Joselyn, Jayce, Rylyn, Ryker, Jarek; and 2 brothers, James Malone and his
wife, Linda of Mountain Home, ARK and Bob Malone of Knoxville as well as many nieces,
nephews, relatives and friends.

A Gathering of Family and Friends to Celebrate the Life of Norma Haning was held Thursday evening at Williams Funeral Home. A private
committal was held at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville. In lieu of flowers the family
requests donations be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
