Services for Milton Clyde Wright, 71, of 7216 Monroe Court, who died of a heart ailment Friday, October 17, 1980, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Grace United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Silent City Cemtery in Monroe.
A native of Monroe, Mr. Wright lived in Newton before moving to Des Moines in 1945.
A retired underwriter for Preferred Risk Insurance Company, he was a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Acanthus Masonic Lodge, Des Moines Consistory, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, High Twelve Club, and Uptown Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth.
The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the Shrine Hospital transportation fund.
