Maxine Amelia (Milner) Naeve
August 18, 1909, passed away February 26, 2007.

Born in Red Bud, SD to Mella Amelia Rankin and Asa Clyde Milner, she grew up in Knoxville, IA and attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO.

Maxine taught school before she married a dentist, Dr. Howard Frederick Naeve. He practiced in Adair, IA, Knoxville, IA, and later Albuquerque, NM. She moved to Green Valley in 1965 where she began her real estate career with Helene Rogers.

She spent her time traveling the world, playing golf and entertaining friends. In 2003 she moved to Tucson to be closer to family. Maxine was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Martha Milner of Scottsdale.

She is survived by her sister, Lorna Schakel of Pella, IA; her children, Dr. Michael Peter (Kaye) Naeve of Boise, ID, Pamela Jane (Walter) Henderson of Tucson, and Ann Amelia (Lee) Krsiean of Prescott.

She had five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Donations may be made in her name to the Library at St. Philip's In the Hills Church, Tucson or Friends in Deed in Green Valley.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
