Memorial services for Marie C. Agnew, 75, of 13 Oak Park Drive, will be 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, Davenport. Burial will be of the cremains in Davenport Memorial Park.
Marie was born on September 16, 1912 in Marion County the daughter of Ray and Lena Elliott Cline. She graduated from Knoxville High School in the class of 1931.
Mrs. Agnew died Thursday, January 4, 1990 at St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport, Iowa. Runge Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Agnew had been a registered nurse at University of Iowa Hospitals, and also had practiced in Lake Fores, Ill.
Marie Cline married Dr. James Agnew (b.1912-d.1999) on July 17, 1942 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
She was a graduate of University of Iowa School of Nursing.
She was a member of the church, the University of Iowa Alumni Auxiliary, a charter member of Davenport PEO Chapter LM, and former member of Scott County Medical Society Auxiliary and the Visiting Nurse Association.
Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Hospital or the church.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Peter (Nancy) and Christopher (Margy), both of Bettendorf; four grand-children; a sister, Betty (Mrs. Jack) Reed, Osage, Mo.; and a brother, Herbert Cline, Knoxville, Iowa.
