Funeral services for Margaret Elaine Tonda, 76, of Knoxville, who died August 2, at Knoxville Area Community Hospital, were held August 5, 1995, at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville. Burial was at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.

The Rev. Kenneth MacLeod officiated at the services. Music was provided by James Kidder, organist, and John Crawford, vocalist. Pallbearers were Hank Brand, Howard Davis, Richard Fee, Richard Tonda, Dan Zickel, and Terry Zickel.

Margaret was born October 24, 1918, in Knoxville, the daughter of Clarence Floyd Harrington and Agnes Faye Cummings. She spent her entire life in the Knoxville area, and graduated from Knoxville High
School in 1936. She was a homemaker and was very active in the First Presbyterian Church of Knoxville.

She was united in marriage to Frank Tonda on January 19, 1941, in Knoxville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Ligouri of Cedar Rapids, and Carol Black of Knoxville; a sister, Mildred Zickel of Knoxville; and four grandchildren.
