Private services were held for lloyd R. Welch, of Ames, Iowa, who died at his home January 5, 1986, with interment at the Breckenridge Cemetery.
Stevens memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Welch was born October 21, 1914 in Marion County to William and Orpha Woody Welch.
He farmed near Knoxville and worked 23 years with the Marion County Road Department. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. He married Lola Riggen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and his first wife.
Mr. Welch is survived by his wife Lola; two step-daughters, Betty Radosevich of Ames, and Mary Ann Kalnms of New Lenox, Ill, one stepson Herman J. Toll of Santee, Calf; 13 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren.
