Kelly Dale Spaur was born January 2, 1978 at Collins Memorial Hospital, in Knoxville, to Barb and Les Spaur. Kelly was the first baby of 1978 born at the Knoxville Hospital. Kelly attended school at Knoxville where he wrestled as well as played baseball. His love for wrestling continued as he was an avid fan of his nephews watching them through high school and on to state. He was always their biggest fan.

On September 3, 1998, Kelly was involved in a car accident that left him in a wheel chair; however, that didn’t define or stop him from being independent. He was not afraid to tackle anything.

He loved the Dallas Cowboys, Iowa State, Dale Earnhardt, and enjoyed Sprint Car races. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and bonfires. He loved working on things with his hands.

He loved being with family and friends and watching his nephews and nieces in whatever they were involved in. You could always count on Kelly being their biggest fan!

He was known to make friendly bets on his teams. Even though there were times he did not win the bet, he would always honor his bet.

Those who will cherish many memories of Kelly are: his parents Barb Spaur, Les (Judy) Spaur; his siblings, Ross (Adri) Spaur, Angel (Eric) Fee, and Shane (Amanda) Bellon; as well as many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses. The Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville is assisting Kelly’s family with services.
