Services for James Filliman of Melcher-Dallas will be at 1 p.m. today at Mosher Funeral Home, with cremation following.
Mr. Filliman, 51, died, January 21, 1991, of a heart ailment Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.
James Filliman born, April 4, 1939, in Pleasantville, he lived most of his life in Melcher-Dallas and retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. in Des Moines.
He is survived by his wife Linda; a son, James of Olathe, Kan,; two daughters, Toni Filliman of Melcher-Dallas and Christy Filliman-Fish of Irving, Texas; his mother, Nona Filliman of Melcher-Dallas; two brothers, Mike of Litchfield, Ariz., and Paul of Indianapolis, Ind,; two sisters, Kathy Ohnemus of Milo and Marie Goins of Barton , Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call until service time at the funeral home.
Jim worked for Firestone in Des Moines until his illness forced him to stop.
He is survived by two daughters, Christi and Tony and one son, Craig.
Services were held January 23, 1991 at the Mosher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas, and conducted by Father Kevin Cameron. Music was provided by Mrs. Delores Milburn.
Honorary casketbearers were Larry Krpan, Danny Ritchie, Dick Mason and Lloyd Tremain.
