Howard Koopman, 80, of 2815 70th St., Urbandale, died of pneumonia Friday October 9, 1992, at Urbandale
Health Care Center, 4614 N.W. 84th St., Urbandale, Iowa. Services will be at 1 p.m.
Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Koopman
was born 1912, in Knoxville and had lived in Des Moines since 1929. He was a retired
supervisor with Iowa Power and a member of First Federated Church.
He is survived
by his wife, Libbie; two daughters, Janet Vicky Farrell of Des Moines and Joan Overholtzer
of San Jose, Calif.; a sister, Juanita Green of Des Moines; five grand-children;
and six greatgrandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday
at the funeral home.
