Services for Fonda Marie Stephens, 75, of Knoxville, who died July 14, 1990 at Methodist
Medical Center in Des Moines, were held July 17 at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home.
Interment was in Graceland Cemetery.

Ms. Stephens was born April 2, 1915 in Marion County, the daughter of George E.
and Electa L. Hulgan Stephens.

She graduated from Knoxville High Schhol in 1933. Retiring in 1980, she had been
employed by the city of Knoxville for 30 years.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Vera Flanders.

She is survived by two brothers, George of Los Alamos, N.M. and John of Knoxville;
five sisters, Hazel Edler of Ankeny, Betty Smith of Bussey, and Dorothy Randol,
Maxine Roper and Joan Jones, all of Knoxville; and several nieces and nephews.

Rev. Robert Smith officiated at the services. Music was provided by James Kidder,
organist, and John Crawford, soloist.

Pallbearers were Brian Foreman, Art Nicholson, Richard Randol, J.P. Morgan, Charles
Wilcutt, and Donald Goemaat.

A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association or to a memorial
of your choice.
