Services for Doris Graeme (Wright) Taylor, daughter of the late Leif Day and Flora Graeme Wright of Knoxville and widow of Reverand Walter Lee Taylor of Topeka, Kan., who died in a nursing home in Tulsa, Okla, were held March 3 at the Calvary Presbyterian Church in Flint.
She was 79 years of age.

She grew up in Knoxville where her father owned and operated a drug store on the souare and she graduated from Knoxville High School in 1927.

She served with her husband in Presbyterian churches in Kansas, Ohio and Michigan.

She was involved in music and the arts throughout her life and played piano for Knoxville's early silent movies, was a church organist and taught piano for over 50 years. She also was the author of two books of poems written for and dedicated to cancer victims.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Doris (Lee) Herald and son Lawrence of Tulsa, Okla.; daughter Nancy McBride of Kansas City,
son Samuel of Carlisle, Pa.; son, Herbert, of Colorado,
eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
