Services for Clifford Lee Worthington Jr., 41, of Harvey, who died May 26, at the
Knoxville Area Community Hospital, was held on May 28, 1994, at Williams Funeral Home
in Knoxville.

The Reverend Ron Hall officiated at the service. Music was provided
by Darlene Mooberry, the organist. Clifford was born August 5, 1952, in Knoxville, the
son of Darlene Lenora Beaver and Clifford Lee Worthington Sr. He graduated from
Knoxville High School in 1970.

He was employed by the Veterans Hospital in Knoxville
and worked as a domiciliary technician in the rehabilitation unit. He also enjoyed
his off-duty time and played in a band called the " Smoky Hollow Band." He was a
Mason in the Bellefountaine Masonic Lodge.

He was united in marriage to Gloria Jean
Sheesley February 18, 1977, in Pleasantville. He was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria, of Harvey; a daughter Samantha, of Harvey; two
sons, Steven of Waterloo, and Scott, of Harvey; his father, Clifford Sr., and his
step-mother Karyn of Des Moines; two sisters, Gloria Goodyk of Pella, and Sandy
Guiter of Ottumwa; six brothers, Dennis Bachman of Knoxville, Jeffrey Worthington
of Ackworth, Timothy Worthington of Bristol, Colorado, Mark, Brian, and James Worthington,
all of Des Moines; and many other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to his children.
