Funeral services for Bruce Scott Williams, Tucson, AZ., who died May 21, 1979, at Avalon Beach, Australia, were held June 2 at Williams Funeral Home.
Officiating at the services were Dr. Leonard E. Deaver and the Rev. William Travis.

The interment was in Graceland Cemetery, Knoxville.
Organ music was provided by Anna Oscarson.
Pallbearers were Harlan Clark, Dennis Core, Brian Freeman, Jack Freeman, Robert Legler, Steve Long and
Mike Whitlatch. Phi Delta Tau Fraternity brothers served as honorary pallbearers.

Mr. Williams was born July 27, 1951, in Des Moines the son of Claudine Scott and Clyde Lee Williams. He graduated from Knoxville High School in 1969 and received a BA degree from Central College, Pella, in 1973. He received his master’s degree from the University of Arizona at Tucson in 1976.
He was employed by the horticulture industry in Arizona.

He married Nadine Danton, on December 2, 1978, at Avalon Beach, Australia.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and paternal grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Nadine of Tucson, Az., his parents; one sister, Mrs. Ron
Ferguson, Knoxville; his maternal grandfather, T.A. Scott, Knoxville, and his paternal grandmother, Daisey Williams of Knoxville.
