Brian Kent Fawcett, of Knoxville, Iowa was born September 14, 1972, the son of Rodney Dale and Vickie Don King. He died of a heart ailment, age 15, Saturday, July 16, 1988, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
He attended Knoxville Junior High School, where he had been assistant manager of the football and track teams. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his father, Rodney Fawcett of Carlisle; his mother and step father, Vickie Fawcett Moss and Pat Moss, a brother, Chad Moss, and his grandparents, Don and Dana King and Warren and Alice Fawcett, all of Knoxville. Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Knoxville Fire and Rescue Unit.
