Mary Elizabeth “Betty´´ (Adams) Blackman, age 97, of Knoxville, Iowa, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019, at the Comfort House in Pella.
Betty´s wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Those left to cherish Betty’s memory include her children, Jan (Rodney) Hotchkin, Dave (Portia) Blackman, and John (Victoria) Blackman; grandchildren, Mike (Trina) Elliott, Mark Elliott, Cady Patterson, Joel (Lana) Blackman, Jeff (Ashley) Blackman, and Antonia Blackman; great-grandchildren, Zack Elliott, Wesley, Bennett, and James Blackman, Elliette Sandoval, and Brooke, Hannah, Nathan, Teagen, Trace, and Tessa Elliott; also siblings, Don Adams, Peg Philliman, and Bill Adams.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Chester Blackman, and parents, Clifford and Algia May Adams.
Memorials may be given in Betty´s memory to the Knoxville Community School District.
