Benjaman C. Wessman, 45, of 6701 Hickman Road died of a heart ailment Sunday at his home.
No funeral services are planned and the body will be cremated.
Mr. Wessman was a Des Moines native.
He attended Grinnell College and was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a postal clerk fr the U.S. Post Office.
Survivors include his wife Sandra; a son, David of Des Moines; two daughters, Becky and Michelle, both of Des Moines; his parents Mr. and Carl Wessman of Long Beach, CA, and a sister Janis (Daryl) Morris, living in California.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight at the Westover Funeral Home
