Annabel M. Kirkman, 94, of Mountain View, Missouri died June 29, 2012 at her granddaughter's home in Summersville, Missouri. She was born April 20, 1918 in Tipperary, Iowa, the daughter of Chester Clyde and Eva May (Spencer) Bonebrake.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester Schick; son, Robert; and infant daughter Kirkman.

Survivors include one daughter, Roberta Smith of Mountain View; two sisters, Doris Spaulding of Mountain View and Frances Mizer of Birch Tree, MO; nine grandchildren, Robin Gower of Mountain View, LeAnn Trevino of Muscatine, IA, Rhoda Foster of Willow Springs, MO, Rick Daniel of Davenport, IA, Lynn Schick of Davenport, IA, Penny Fisher of Bettendorf, IA, Ron Weis of Bettendorf, IA, Steve Weis of Davenport, IA, and Sheryl DeVol of Summersville, MO; 17 great grandchildren and 25 great great grandchildren.

Annabel was a member of the V.F.W. She was a ham radio operator and used the name "Little Orphan Annie". Annabel enjoyed baking, crafts, making quilts, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. She also enjoyed her dog, Precious.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at United Methodist Church, Mountain View. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View.

Burial:
Cremated, Ashes given to family or friend.
