David Woody is an avid race fan and worked on Sprint Cars for many years. Little did he know that wearing white racing T-shirts was like wearing no shirt at all. In December 2014, David had surgery to remove a melanoma skin tag on his back.

David was diligent about his dermatology and oncology visits. In January 2015, David was declared cancer free, and as of April 2017, remained disease-free. This all came to a screeching halt on September 22 when David awoke in excruciating pain, was taken to the ER, and told his cancer had returned with a vengeance. Sadly, cancer has spread throughout his body and to his brain.David Woody David has been given just days to live.

David bravely fought cancer until his body said no more. Consequently, David had to quit his job and was left without insurance, and now he and his wife, Cindy, are faced with bills that have skyrocketed into tens of thousands of dollars!

David and Cindy have always loved music. In the last several years, Country Music has been a big part of their lives, After losing Cindy’s mom in January and then David’s dad in July, the couple was ready to embark on their time, and they had hoped to retire in Nashville, TN, but God has different plans.

David’s greatest love is his wife, Cindy. He is a wonderful husband, loving and devoted, even now in his final days.
