Services for Dale Vernon Wolf, 73, who died April 28, 1990 at Knoxville Area Community
Hospital, were held May 2 at Evans-McCleery Funeral Home.
Interment was in Graceland
Cemetery. Pallbearers were Chuck Wooldridge, Sam Nichols, Clay Barnett, Leland Karr,
Arden Graves, and Gary Verwers. Honorary bearers were Wayne Anderson, Jay Thompson,
Steve Lash, and Richard Sparks.
Mr. Wolf was born on May 13, 1916 in Knoxville,
the son of Reese and Amelia Richards Wolf. He graduated from Knoxville High School
in 1935. On Dec. 7, 1940, he married Bertie VanHemert at Unionville, Mo. He was
preceded in death by his father and one daughter, Susan in 1973.
He is survived
by his wife; one brother, Bill of Knoxville; one sister, Mrs. Stanley (Norma) Kimm
of Knoxville; his mother of Knoxville; and three grandchildren.
