Jerrold Duane Robuck was born on June 13, 1931, in Knoxville, Iowa, the son of Ora
William Robuck and Myrtis Edith (Perry) Robuck.
Jerry grew up in Knoxville and graduated with the Knoxville High School class of
1948. He then enlisted in the United States Navy on September 9, 1950, where he served
during the Korean War and was honorably discharged on July 8, 1954. On June 29,
1957, he was united in marriage to Alberta Sue Wilfong. Jerry worked as an engineering
consultant until his retirement in 2000.
He was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Georgia Bulldogs. Jerry was also
a race fan and was a wonderful musician that enjoyed going to bluegrass festivals.
He was a very patriotic man, a devoted husband, and a loving father. His witty sense
of humor will never be forgotten.
Jerry passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2012, at the Comfort House in Pella at the
age of 81 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alberta; sisters, Phyllis Robuck,
Virginia Kingrey and Jeannine DeJong.
Survivors include his children; Michael Robuck of Waconia, MN, Sue (Bobby) Harmon
of Lawrenceville, GA; 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Jack
Robuck of Indianola.

The family invites relatives and friends to return to the Church for lunch following
the committal service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian
Church or to the Comfort House of Pella.
