Patricia Dawn O’Brien was born May 19, 1963, in Oskaloosa, Iowa to Howard L. and Sandra Kae
(Mohler) O’Brien.
Tricia was raised in Knoxville and attended Knoxville High School.
Following high school, she began her career in the health field. She worked for many
years at Oakwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albia, as a nurse’s aid, medical
aid, and Activity Director. She later worked for Mercy Medical Center. Tricia was
also an active member of the Apostolic Church of Knoxville.
Patricia went to meet
her Lord on Monday morning March 7, 2011, at the Monroe County Hospital Emergency Room in Albia. Tricia was 47 years, eight months, and 17 days.
Her father Howard
L. O’Brien, Sr preceded her in death. Patricia is survived by her mother Sandra
Devore of Albia; three brothers Howard O’Brien, Jr., Shawn O’Brien, and Patrick
O’Brien all of Knoxville; two sisters Paige O’Brien of Knoxville and Royal (Jamison)
Harbison of Richland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
