Services for Larry Dean Montavy, 21, of Barnett, Mo. and formerly of Knoxville,
who died Aug. 5, 1986 at Barnett, Mo. of injuries suffered in a lawn mower accident,
were held Aug. 8 at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home in Newton.

Interment was in Wittemberg
Cemetery, near Newton.
Rev. Jerome Egel officiated at the services. Pallbearers
were Joseph and Donald Montavy, John, Tony and Edward Smith,
Richard Wallace, and
Larry Brown.

Mr. Montavy was born May 17, 1965 in Newton, the son of Larry Lee and
Cheryl Harsh Montavy. A graduate of Knoxville High School, he had been employed
by Maytag Dairy Farm as a truck driver. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of
Eagles, Knoxville.

He was preceded in death by one brother, David, and his grandfathers,
Lawrence Montavy and Carl Harsh. He is survived by his parents of Barnett, Mo.;
three brothers, Joseph of Versailles, Mo. and Douglas and Donald of Barnett, Mo.;
two sisters, his twin Laura, and Kimber!y, both of Barnett, Mo.; and his grandparents,
Lora Harsh of Newton, Doris Montavy of Barnett, Mo. and Georgia Montavy of Sugar
Creek, Mo.
