Edward J. Larson, 80, of Gassville died Saturday (April 9, 1994) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Services and burial will be private under the direction of Kirby and Family Funeral Directors.

Mr. Larson, a Gassville residence since 1980, was formerly of San Diego, Calif. He was born on Jan. 15, 1914, at Bussey, Iowa, and was a machinist for Aurora Aircraft for several years.

He also was the developer of Big Tree Subdivision and Wildcat Shoals. He was a member of the Protestant faith.He was united in marriage to Georgia Stein on March 23, 1935 in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Survivors include a son, James E. Larson of Medford, Ore.; two daughters, Kay Marie Calkin of Medford, Ore., and Nancy Ann (Lemoine) of Springfield, La.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia E. Larson (Age 60) (b.Aug 8, 1916 d. July 9, and both parents.
