Dear sister of the late Ellen Lynn Proud Grandmother: Amy, Joel, Katherine, Claire, Daniel, Miriam, and Benjamin, and Great Grandmother of Martha Ann, Elinor, James, Jeremiah, Naomi, Lydia, and Josephine.
She was an avid knitter, and reader and loved her crossword puzzles. 
Miriam knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Miriam was a very active supporter of the Westside Christian School in Detroit, and especially the Laban Mission in the Congo.
Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Laban Mission.
