Richard Lee Fawcett was born September 14, 1943, in Knoxville, Iowa, and left this world at home in Omaha, Nebraska on September 10, 2025.
Rich is survived by his beloved wife, Sheryl; their daughters, Cee Cee Garton (Shawn) and Michelle Wilson (Chris); granddaughters: Micah Garton Love (TJ), Sydney Wilson Scott (Wyatt), Morgan Wilson (fianc, Austen Nichols), and Logan Wilson (boyfriend, Logan Meyer); brother, Rodney (Mary Ann); sisters-in law, Martha Fawcett and Sally Notara; a nephew; three nieces; and uncle; aunts; cousins; and a multitude of dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law; brother, Rodger; nephews, Ryan and Brian; and several aunts and uncles.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE:
Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 1:00PM, St. Luke United Methodist Church, 11810 Burke Street, Omaha, 68154. Reverend Marshall Johnson will preside.
